About us

Wood. Treated Right.

The journey of Treet began long before our name took shape, rooted in the legacy of our pioneers, V.S Timbers – one of the largest hardwood importers in India. Established in 1984, V.S Timbers built a trusted name in the timber industry, laying the foundation for what would later become Treet.

Guided by a deep commitment to quality and responsible forestry, Treet's vision began to take form. At Treet, we believe that wood is more than just a material—it's a living connection to the earth, imbued with the strength and resilience of the forests from which it comes.

Treatment Process

Our Treatments

Air Dry Treatment

Air Dry Treatment is a traditional method of drying wood naturally. Wood is left in a ventilated area to release moisture slowly, preserving its natural texture and flexibility, making it ideal for crafting and furniture projects.

Kiln Dry Treatment

Kiln Dry Treatment is a faster, efficient method of drying wood. Controlled heat, humidity, and airflow in a kiln reduce moisture, making the wood more durable, weather-resistant, and less likely to warp or crack.

Chemical Treatment

Chemical treatment involves applying protective chemicals to wood to enhance its resistance to decay, pests, and weathering. By impregnating the wood with preservatives like borates or copper-based solutions, the treatment protects it from termites, fungi, and rot, making it suitable for outdoor uses such as decking, fencing, and construction.

Sustainability Story

At Treet, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. We carefully source premium exotic woods from around the globe, selecting only trees that are over 90 years old. This thoughtful choice ensures that younger saplings have the space to grow and thrive, contributing to the long-term health of forests for generations to come. By taking only what nature can replenish, we ensure that the beauty and vitality of forests endure. But our commitment to sustainability doesn’t stop there.
